  • • Possibly made at ROF Fazakerley
•  Sporterized
  • • Marked "Surrey" on barrel, indicating professional sporterization by a company
• Bolt action repeater
  • • Right handed 
    • Magazine fed
      • Magazine is missing
• 303 British
• Cut down wood stock, with classic Enfield semi-pistol grip
  • • Brass buttplate 
    • Scattered scratches and dings
    • Swivels removed 

• Finish has uniformly faded due to heat
• 25.5" Barrel 
• Fitted with scope bases in rudimentary fashion
  
  • • Attached with entirely improper Robertson screws
    • Rear base sits upon what appears to be a piece of shelf bracketry 
• Bore was relatively bright, prior to the incident 
• All springs have entirely lost their temper
• Metal appears to be in reasonably condition, but special consideration should be give to the detrimental effects it has suffered due to extreme heat
