  • • Intended for the bygone sport of shooting rooks 
    • Remarkably svelte 
• Originally chambered in .295 or .300 Rook
  • • Rechambered in 218 Bee via sleeving long ago
      • Sleeved outside of England, not re-proofed
• Single shot
  • • Fitted with an extractor 
      • May have originally been fitted with an ejector
        • Spring and mechanism are missing, possibly removed during sleeving 
    • Very, very slightly loose on the face 
    • Trigger guard screw is marred 
• Hardwood furniture, with finely checkered wrist and forend

    • Embellished grip cap and buttplate
    • Forend shows some missing wood and cracking 
• Blued barrel, colour case hardened receiver 
  • • Lightly engraved 
    • Receiver finish is largely absent, showing a touch of fine colour in the recesses 
    • Barrel finish is thinning but present, showing approximately 40-50% coverage 
      • Barrel shows some light pits and dings

• Sights removed and filled
• Fitted with a set of Weaver bases
  • • Screwed into the dorsal barrel flat
    • Currently wears a Weaver K10 AO Scope
      • Optics are clear for their age 
• Bore is bright, showing some old pitting in the vicinity of the chamber. Some fouling and stains are visible.
  • • Rifling appears sound where not pitted, showing an 8-Groove profile and some wear
      • Bore condition presents as 45-65%
